In order to deal with the constant presence of the highway my bedroom window looked out upon at the time, Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs, I decided to turn the highway into a midi sequencer. By placing motion detectors on a pedestrian overpass, I used the passing cars to trigger soothing tones in the gallery.
